Can I pay a participant even after approval or rejection? link

Yes, you can update and approve payment for submissions that have already reached a terminal status (approved, rejected, no-show, or returned). This feature is available for special circumstances where you need to compensate participants after the initial decision.

How it works:

  • Look for the "Update and Approve Payment" button in the submission's action cell on the Submissions Dashboard
  • This button is available for submissions with terminal status: Approved, Rejected, No-Show, or Returned
  • Enter the payment amount you wish to provide
  • The submission status will change to "Approved" regardless of its original status

Important considerations:

  • Status changes: Previously rejected or returned submissions will show as approved, which may affect your target participant count
  • Fund transfer: For non-zero payments, funds will be transferred from your main wallet to the study wallet
  • No bulk actions: This feature is designed for special cases and must be applied individually to each submission
